学习成绩优异的高中二年级学生村上凉太（逢坂凉太 配音）是天文社的唯一成员。童年时期的他有一个非常要好的朋友“黑猫”，但在一次事故中，黑猫这个女孩为了救凉太而被判死亡。这次事件给了凉太沉重的打击和创伤，于是他希望代替黑猫仰望星空，找到传说中的外星人。这天，美丽的女孩黑羽宁子（种田梨沙 配音）转学到凉太的班级，他惊讶地发现黑羽长得和黑猫很像。宁子是一个奇怪而神秘的女孩，她不会乘法，却能预测别人的死亡日期。她在一场大雨中救下了原本应该死去的凉太，并向他透露了自己的魔法师身份。为了保护凉太，宁子拒绝与他有太多的接触。然而充满好奇心、对过去抱有诸多疑问的凉太，却义无反顾地闯入了一个神秘而危险的世界…… 本片改编自冈本涟的原著。
